Hello ALL!
Well, now that I am getting the hang of this blogging business (at least I think I am), it's time to focus on what is REALLY important, YOU our beloved customer.  Yes, we love you and really want you to be happy.  This is why I have written a letter to each of you on our menu, we have comment cards on each table and we have a comment book on the counter by the cash register.  We value your opinion above all else and sincerely hope you will talk to us.  Please tell us about any concerns you may have. 

From the time we open the door in the morning until we lock it again after closing, our only thoughts are about what we can do to make you happy.  We work hard to be ready to serve you a hot and delicious meal.  We actually make just about everyting by hand from scratch.  However, in spite of how hard we try to do the best job possible, occassionally we drop the ball.  And for that I am truly sorry.  As mentioned above,  I hope you will tell us as soon as you notice anything (food or service) that is less than perfect.  We really want to know (I cannot say that enough).

This is it!!  The very best handmade cinnamon roll in the WHOLE  WORLD!!!  We make our famous cinnamon roll from scratch with our 74 year old secret recipe.  It will fill your plate and can easily feed 4 people.  On the other hand, a lot of people eat the WHOLE THING all by themselves.  Our cinnamon roll has been one of the reasons we have been featured on numerous TV shows and feature stories, including the Food Network, the Cooking Channel and Chefs vs. City.  In fact, it was the Chefs vs. City show that gave rise to the creation of our new

This is the BEST flat iron steak you will ever find.  We recently switched from the “ribeye” which, while it was good, left too much gristle and fat on the plate.  With the new flat iron steak there is absolutely nothing left when you finish it.  You will eat every bite and LOVE it!  Try it and let us know what you think.  You can order it with delicious vegetables for lunch or as part of our fantastic “BIG D” breakfast, which you can get all day.

These pancakes are made from a 75 year old secret recipe, same as the homemade cinnamon rolls.  Like just about everything in Texas, these pancakes are as big as your plate.  With lots of butter and hot syrup, you will eat every bite.  In fact, many people like the taste so much they eat them without any toppings.  We don’t put the “toppings” ON the pancakes, we cook the “toppings” right INTO the pancakes.       

Blueberry, Banana, Strawberry, Pecan and Chocolate Chip or anything you can dream up.  If we have it we will put it in for you.  Just ask us.
